FAQ

  • What products should I avoid using with my prosthetic?
We do not recommend using products which contain silicone with your prosthetic, as silicone can damage the prosthetic. Watch out for lubes, soaps, or other products that contain silicone. Take care choosing soaps, as there are a number of silicone ingredients in common products that may have weird or unrecognizable names such as cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, dimethicone, or trimethicone.
  • Are your prosthetics safe for sex?
For legal purposes we cannot recommend our prosthetics for sex or guarantee their safety, as everyone's body is different and handles sex differently. Our prosthetics are made of 100% Platinum silicone, which is safe for skin contact. We are not responsible for the functionality of our prosthetics while being used for sexual intercourse. If you use condoms or lubricant with our prosthetics, please ensure that they are WATER BASED ONLY.
  • How do you measure the length of the prosthetics?
Our prosthetics are measured from the base of the prosthetic to the tip, shaft length, and girth!
  • Do you offer a warranty for your products?
Different people take different care of their prosthetics. Some treat it like a body part, and wash it every day up to 3x a day. Some individuals use it to urinate, and play, which can damage the prosthetic if the bodily substances are only washed off weekly or only after activity. We cannot accept returns for this reason, as it is considered a health code violation. We would love to offer a warranty but cannot assume all people will treat their prosthetic with proper care, even if they claim that they do.
  • Can your prosthetics be glued on?
They are not meant to be glued on but some people do. We suggest using the pocket underwear which we will have available in our store soon. We do not sell glue in our store. If you insist on using adhesive with your prosthetic, please make sure that it is 100% medically safe, as the skin on your genitals is often thinner and more sensitive than the rest of your body.
  • Can I change/cancel my order?
All sales are final at moment of purchase, and cannot be returned or exchanged for sanitation reasons.
  • My package still isn't here! Did it get lost?
Once your package has been taken by the carrier, it is the responsibility of the carrier to ensure that it gets to the customer on time and intact. The best thing for our customers to do is to use the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email to follow the progress of the package. For international orders, your package may be stopped in Customs and require further payment (duties and taxes) to be delivered to you.
  • Do I have to pay Customs Fees and Taxes for my International order?
Yes. We receive payment for your items and shipping costs. When printing your postage, we are required by law to declare the items contained within and the associated value of those items. We list items as "Vulcanized Silicone Toy" or "Silicone Sculpture" with the Tariff Number 4016.99 per customs requirements. Nearly always you will be charged a Customs Fee and Local Taxes when you receive your package. Orders to the EU the VAT and duties are paid at checkout. These things are completely out of our control and we apologize for the extra expenses you may incur in this regard.

This is to ensure accurate calculations for duties and taxes and prevent issues with customs. Transkins complies with all international shipping regulations and cannot falsify customs documents for any reason. This includes (but is not limited to) declaring orders as gifts, marking them at a lower cost than they are valued, or misrepresenting our product in order to incur lesser customs fees. All international orders require duties, taxes, and or customs fees for the packages. Transkins now works with a partner to calculate and collect duties, taxes and fees when you place your order. The total amount due will be shown as a line item in your shopping cart. Note: Orders placed before July 21, 2022 did not have their duties, taxes and fees collected in advance. That is the date we rolled out support for this feature. The amount due for duties, taxes and fees will vary depending on the subtotal amount on your order, the country it is being shipped to and the shipping carrier selected. Import taxes are calculated per-item and are based on both the harmonized sale classification and the tax rates in your country. We guarantee that the amount you're paying (the "landed cost") is accurate and that you will receive no additional charges when your package is delivered or after delivery. • How to use a STP
Becoming Proficient with Stand-to-Pee Devices Using a stand-to-pee device usually takes some practice. Practice at home before trying it in a public men's room. For your first few times trying out an STP device, you may wish to practice while standing undressed in the bathtub, so if you have leaks you won't mess up your clothes or the floor. Once you have mastered the device in the tub, you can move on to trying it while undressed in front of the toilet at home to get used to aiming the device. Then try it in clothes in front of the toilet. Make sure you slightly squeeze the tip to widen the hole to get a steadier stream.
